Ever donate blood?

In Malaysia,the body that manage the blood donation usually the hospitals.

they usually will have their own blood donation unit..

ive tried many times to donate blood before but i cant since i need to get my parents permission 1st 

when i was under 18

but when i reached 18,i tried but yet i failed to get a chance

my first attempt failed bcoz i got class on that tyme

my 2nd attempt,i cant donate bcoz im having flu..(ciss,this tyme i'm really not satisfied!)

and the 3rd tyme,i cant bcoz my friend cant join me..

so for the 4th i managed to go through..(yeah,finally!)

in Australia, the body that managed the blood donation is Australian Red Cross

(usually they will come with this well equipped van)

honestly my first impression,they are really well trained and nice..

they are very nice and treated u with full of smile

not like some Malaysian nurse i met last time when i wanted to donate the blood

1st,u need to fill a forms about ur medical backgrounds and answers some question about ur medical history

after that they will conduct an interview with u to register u in the national database..
then,u r ready to donate ur blood..

after donation,u need to wait for a while..

at this time,u will be given a drinks and a food to eat while recovering from the process..

here u can choose from fruit cakes,muffins or biscuits

(oh ya,in malaysia they will u too,but only biscuits =)  )

at this tyme,they will tell u whether u the next scheduled donation..

after 1 weeks,they will sent u  ltter 

asking about ur condition and ur health,whether u suffer anything after the procedure..

im not sure they will do this to u in Malaysia..but hopefully they do..

after two- three  weeks,they will sent u a card as a recognisation that u are a registered blood donor..

thats all for this entry..actually whenever or whatever situation,whether u are in Malaysia or OZ,

if u want u can simply do it..

there is no excuse..bear in mind,all this is will come back to u as rewards when u die..

so WHY NOT?
